Story
The Shinra corporation controls not only the world's power supply, but it's government
as well. Some of this world's discontents have formed the Avalanche organization to fight back at the Shinra corporation via terrorist tactics. Cloud Strife came into contact with Avalanche, and was paid a large sum of money to join the organization on a mission. Cloud never expects this would eventually lead to a journey that reveals his true identity, and a journey that involves the lives of all creatures on the planet and the life of the planet itself. |

Square, Dream Factory and Namco have worked together to bring you an arcade fighting game named EHRGEIZ. The game is very similar to Tobal No.1, with even more amazing graphics and backgrounds. And the most important of all, the game features Cloud and Tifa as secret bosses!

EIDOS for minimum system requirements, and check out PC Gamer's website for screen shots of the actual game.Animatinon fans can now get a copy of the "Final Fantasy The Animation Series" at a video or video game store like Suncoast, and Electronic Boutique.
A CG movie named "Final Fantasy" is on its way to the theater. Although it is still in the early stages, Square has confirmed that the movie will feature an entirely new cast.
A new version of Final Fantasy VII will be on sale in Japan. The new version will be called "Final Fantasy VII International". It features the new things that have been added to the English version (Weapons and some movies). In addition to that, the game will be packed with a forth disk, which contains all the CG movies from the game, item list and more.
Final Fantasy VII will not, I repeat, WILL NOT be ported to Nintendo 64 due to the huge memory of the game.
In Japan, sales of Final Fantasy VII top 1.57 million units in just 2 days, and 2 million units in 3 days!!
As of Feb 27th, 1997, total sale of Final Fantasy VII in Japan alone has reached 2.65 million units.
The release date for the four CD original soundtrack set is 10 Feb, 1997 (ten days after the game goes on sale, presumably so you'll have a chance to finish the game first). The initial special edition will come in a classy box with a 24-page booklet for 5800 yen. The standard set will be priced at 3800 yen. For people outside Japan that wants to get your copy of the CD set, try Game Cave, an import company that carries many game related items.
